If you know anything about basketball and sneakers, you should know that PUMA and Walt “Clyde” Frazier go hand in hand. The PUMA Lab in NYC was decked out in style to launch the release of the “Clyde” collection. This latest collection includes the “Wraith” AND “Dressed” packs. These packs contain a stylish set of footwear inspired by Walt “Clyde” Frazier. This collection of kicks dropped just in time for basketball season. The Clyde Collection is the perfect match for all Fall/Winter fits.
The launch event included a sneaker panel hosted by legendary sneaker aficionado Bobbito Garcia. The panel included Walt “Clyde” Frazier himself, Fabolous, Rocnation’s Emory Jones, Celebrity Stylist Rachel Johnson, GQ’s Jake Woolf, and Knicks reporter Rebecca Harlowe. They talked about Puma’s influence on style and their fondest memories of the shoe. Frazier talked about his influence both on and off the court. Whether it was fashion or ballin’, he was always on his “A” game. Before there was Nike and Jordan, there was PUMA and Walt “Clyde” Frazier. The “Clyde” collections are available for purchase at the PUMA Lab in NYC (125 West 33rd Street), select retailers, and online.
