Tribeca Film Festival has become an amazing platform for the arts. It brings a slew of celebrity appearances and a host of talented actors, writers, producers, and filmmakers. We’ve seen some interesting visuals at Tribeca Film Festival and this year, they are bringing back another dope component. They linked up with Snapchat to launch a section for Storytelling with Snaps. Tribeca Snapchat Shorts program is an official category for the 2017 TFF and is now accepting submissions.
This program will include a series of two-minute shorts, created on the Snapchat app. Ten submissions will be chosen and featured both at the Festival and on Snapchat. Serena Williams, Andy Cohen, and Jason Biggs are amongst some of the judges chosen to pick the winning submissions. Snapchat has launched a variety of new features that will help people tell their stories. From memories to stickers to the use of World Lenses, coming through with a fresh Snap should be easy. There are some people who are real savvy with the Snap. If that’s you, this might be a good thing. The submission process begins today, December 15 and will close on February 17, 2017.
