Imagine having a fresh pair of kicks that deliver top of the line performance and can help save the ocean at the same time. adidas unveiled a dope new collection that is good for the feet and great for the earth. They teamed up with Parley for this latest drop and it was designed and constructed with some of the best intentions in mind. The Parley Edition includes the adidas UltraBOOST, UltraBOOST X, and UltraBOOST Uncaged silhouettes that are all made with up-cycled marine plastic.
Each pair is constructed with at least 11 plastic bottles collected from the ocean. From the Primeknit that wraps the foot for support to the Rubber outsole for durability and performance, the construction of this shoe was carefully thought out and executed. It is important that we work together to keep the oceans clean for years to come. Each shoe features laces, heel webbing, heel lining, and sock liner covers that are constructed with recycled PET material.
While these shoes are made with the best interest of the planet in mind, they still deliver that adidas top-notch performance and durability. Getting everyone involved in the responsibility of taking care of the earth and our oceans is key.
