BET added 2 new categories including, "Made-You-Look Award (Best Hip Hop Style)" and "Best Hip-Hop Blog Site".
West Coast vet Ice Cube will be honored with the "I AM HIP-HOP" Icon Award for his contributions to the game.

- yeah fabo and jadakiss got left out the most, JADA's album was much better than Relapse and was on par with Paper trail and Reccesion, if not better. and Asher Roth deserved a rookie nomination imo.
